Garment Printng and Embroidery
We can supply embroidery and two types of printing services; digital and screen printing.
Digital Printing has no setup fees and has a full range of colours including half tones (one colour gradually changing into another). The cost however of the actual printing is much higher than screen printing. Printing on dark garments requires a layer of white for both digital and screen printing. It is therefore cheaper to print on light garments. Digital printing is cost effective for smaller orders of designs with many colours (including half tones).
Screen Printing has a setup fee:
a) the art work needs to be in vector format (the cost of converting to vector is approximately $35)
b) screen setup fee of $65 per colour is applicable. Art work conversion to vector and screen setup fees are payable once only for the first job. Future re-prints of the garments do not attract a setup fee.
c) to calculate the cost of printing on dark coloured garments, the cost of another layer of colour needs to be added
d) the actual cost of printing is considerably cheaper than the digital option
Embroidery costs start at $25 for setup fee and $4.50 per garment for the actual embroidery (left chest size). Large size (28 cm across the back) is $7.50.
